Le Normandie Restaurant: The finest French restaurant in all of Asia, Le Normandie restaurant is where you will run into some of the most talented chefs from France, who are delighted to impress you with their signature skills. The ambience if often graced by royalty and politicians and gentlemen are requested to wear a dinner jacket.

Lord Jim’s: The Lord Jim’s restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is inspired by novelist Joseph Conrad. The restaurant features a tempting a la carte menu and is renowned for its sushi dishes. The decor of the restaurant features aquatic themes, with the dress code being smart casual.

Sala Rim Naam: Guests at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok are welcome to dine on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, at the Sala Rim Naam restaurant. The restaurant features classical Thai dancing every evening and boasts a decor filled with Thai architecture.

China House: The China house restaurant is inspired by colonial style architecture and has recently been transformed into a two storey building, making it one of the most exquisite dining venues in the vicinity. The culinary team is headed by Chef Jereme Leung, founder of the Whampoa club in Shanghai and Chef Kong Khai Meng, who is one his most brilliant students. Together the two of them are known to brew up the best in contemporary cuisine amidst a refined ambience.

Riverside Terrace: The best of middle-eastern, Asian and European cuisine is served at the Riverside terrace. The menus feature exclusive seafood and grilled meats, which are accompanied by the exotic views of the rivers of kings. The barbeque terrace has undergone a recent makeover and sizzles with kebabs, Indian tandoori ovens, which are complimented with live bands every night of the week.

The Verandah: Freshly baked cakes and all day dining are some of the many specialities of the verandah restaurant. Guests can choose from a wide range of Asian and western cuisine, served amidst a Thai ambience on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.

Ciao: The Ciao restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is proud of their wood burning oven, which is known to serve some of the finest pizzas and Italian cuisine, graced by a breathtaking ambience.

Author’s Lounge: The authors lounge is graced with white rattan furnishings and serves traditional English coffee and tea, along with finger sandwiches and cakes.
